I'm a list-making addict; grocery lists, monthly workout plans, budgets... the problem is I'm not a list-following addict. So to stop myself from getting ahead of the game, I've decided to limit myself to a weekly list. Which will now be known just as "The Plan."
So here we go:
The Plan: January 2/2-2/8/14
Sunday: Asleep by 9:45 (Okay, in bed right after the Super Bowl ends...)
Monday: Wake up at 5:45
Gym @ 6:30 (Run)
Walk 1/2 hr after work
Bed @ 9 / Asleep @9:45
Tuesday: Up @ 6
Basement @ 6:15 (Lift 1/2 hr, 1/2 hr stretching)
Sprint after work (Pool or bike)
Bed @ 9 / Asleep @9:45
Wednesday: Wake up at 5:45
Gym @ 6:30 (Run)
Walk 1/2 hr after work
Bed @ 9 / Asleep @9:45
Thursday: Up @ 6
Basement @ 6:15 (Lift 1/2 hr, 1/2 hr stretching)
Walk 1/2 hr after work
Bed @ 9 / Asleep @9:45
Friday: Wake up at 5:45
Gym @ 6:30 (Run)
Walk 1/2 hr after work
Bed @ 9 / Asleep @9:45
Saturday: PLAY (Probably XC skiing)
So this works out to be 2 hours of moving slowly (plus Saturday's play and let's be honest, my "running" is pretty slow too), 2 lifting sessions, 1 sprint session. That covers laws 2,3,4 and 6. I'll be getting 8 to 8.25 hours of sleep every night- law 5. Law 10- using your brain will be covered by reading. I just picked up a copy of Wild, which Monique has told me I can only read from 9-9:45 (I tend to tear through books).
Wondering what we'll be eating this week? Check back for the menu tomorrow...
